Understanding Farmers’ Intention towards the Management and Conservation of Wetlands

The aim of the present research was to analyze farmers’ intention towards participation in management and conservation wetlands through lens extended theory planned behavior (TPB). To do this, a cross-sectional survey Iranian farmers carried out. select samples, multi-stage random sampling process with proportional assignment employed. instrument researcher-made questionnaire whose validity reliability were verified using various quantitative qualitative indicators. results TPB structural equation modeling showed that four variables, namely moral norms (MNPMC), attitude (APMC), subjective (SNPMC), self-concept about (SCPMC) had positive significant impacts on (IPMC). also revealed entering MNPMC SCPMC into could increase its explanatory power. Also, fit indicators supported TPB. From practical point view, study provides justifications insights for use MNPMC, APMC, SNPMC, policies programs intended encourage local communities participate conservation.
